Welcome Royal Readers!
Royal Readers is an incentive reading program for PreK4 to 12th-grade students at ----.
Our students encourage each other by reading books and articles and taking quizzes to ensure comprehension. Awards and acknowledgments are given to our students to encourage students to continue to explore through reading. We are preparing the King's kids to lead kingdoms.
We use two primary platforms. Renaissance's Accelerated Reader and Readworks.org.
Students can submit Accelerated Reading (AR) TOPS reports from OCPS LaunchPad for recognition. A students' teacher can provide a Student Record Report which is a complete summary of all quizzes taken.
Students that do not have access to Accelerated Reading at school can sign up to be a part of our Readworks.org group.
Next Submission Deadline is Friday, June 14, 2019.
The submission range is for the entire 2018-2019 school year. Quizzes passed during August 2018 to June 14, 2019 can be submitted.
The students will be acknowledged during youth Sunday on June 30th.
There will be a cash prize of $25 for one winner in each grade. The winner must pass a minimum of 25 AR quizzes or pass a minimum of 40 readworks.org quizzes.
